Wtf is Get Sad Y'all?

Get Sad Y'all started as a small, one-man emo night at a now-defunct dive bar in downtown Raleigh, NC. They've since worked with Live Nation, idobi Radio, and some of the biggest names in the scene, including Adam Lazzara of Taking Back Sunday, Jack Barakat of All Time Low, Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens, New Found Glory, Motion City Soundtrack, and many more.
In addition to events, Get Sad Y'all has also built a successful clothing brand, working with local Raleigh outlets like Munjo Munjo, SPK Design, and more.
Get Sad Y'all looks poised for continued growth in 2022 with further expansion into the Charlotte market and new partnerships in the works.

Most Memorable Concert Experience: Remember Ace’s Basement in Greensboro, NC? In the basement of that seedy old motel across from the Coliseum. Yeah, that was scary until you actually made it in. Hometown: Charlotte, NC
Favorite Band: Motionless In White
First Scene Show: La Dispute
Most Memorable Concert Experience: I went to see Motionless In White at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach in 2015. I had a VIP ticket and after I took my picture with the band I asked Chris Motionless if he could write down some lyrics for me so I could get them tattooed. He told me to stick around and he would do it when everyone else finished getting their pictures taken. Fast forward to the end of the meet and greet, Chris and I walked to the bar top so he had something to write on, he wrote the lyrics for me, and for ten minutes just stood there talking to me and taking selfies. We weren’t allowed to give hugs during the m&g but he let me give him a big hug afterwards. I definitely ran to my car and cried after that. I never got it tattooed, but to this day I have the lyrics he wrote for me.
